The next five days we will discover how we can safeguard our lives against sexual temptations. By taking godly measures, we can become victorious over any attempts to flirt with seduction. I can’t believe we have already made it to this portion of the study. It has been such a joy serving you. I hope the journey has been worth your while. One of my hopes in writing this study was that you would feel like we were personally doing it together. Since this subject was such a sensitive topic, I felt women would be apprehensive about doing it together in person. Because of that, I wanted you to feel as if you and I were doing it together. There is something about sisters coming together before the Lord to study His Word that is so precious to me. Since I knew we would not be together in person, I wanted it to be as close to that as possible. I want you to know I have been praying for you long before you stumbled upon this study. I have believed God to bring exactly who He would want this study to be revealed to. I want you to know how precious you are to the Lord. He loves you so much. NO matter what you have done in your life or where you have been, nothing has EVER changed His love for you. Before we get started today, I want to share a poem I wrote as I was meditating on the Father’s amazing love for His daughters. Will you allow me to share it with you?
A touch of your mercy, an embrace of your grace

You are my one and only desire.
Sisters, you have a God that loves you beyond anything you could ever fathom. Bask in His love today. Trust that no matter what your feelings tell you, you are a joyful song to your Abba Father! May He become your heart’s one desire. |
